In addition to the full OBD2 functionality offered with the previous entries, the NT510 Elite offers a bi-directional control test, steering angle calibration, EFB (brake) service, oil reset, and DPF. 

Plus, unlike the previous entries, it supports both OBD1, OBD2, and EOBD. That means it’ll work with some older cars that others won’t. It has a high-quality colored screen and comes with a lifetime of free updates. 

That’s a lot of features, but the NT510 has a big drawback. There are several different versions of the NT510, and each version works with one manufacturer. If you only intend to use your Foxwell scan tool on one vehicle, this won’t be a problem.

5. FOXWELL NT624 Elite OBD2 Scanner

Like the NT630, the NT624 can scan and troubleshoot your airbags. The big difference here is that it can do the same with almost all of your vehicle’s electronic systems. The NT624 does almost everything that the NT630 does and includes wider system compatibility.

The only exception is SAS (steering systems and suspension systems) support. While the NT630 supports SAS, the NT624 doesn’t. Besides this exception, the NT624 is an upgrade in every regard. However, this upgraded functionality comes at the rather steep price of $259.

6. FOXWELL NT200C CAN OBD2 Scanner

This Foxwell OBD2 scanner is the least expensive on this list. It’ll provide sufficient functionality for the vast majority of casual users. The Foxwell NT200C supports the same protocols as the last two entries on this list, and it’s compatible with the same manufacturers. 

This Foxwell scanner offers no more than the bare essentials, and that isn’t a bad thing. If the bare essentials are all you need, you may as well save yourself some money by getting this super budget-friendly scanner.

One more thing …..

It can read and clear fault codes, reset your check engine light, and show live data. Additionally, it can save freeze frame data and provide vehicle-specific information such as VIN, CID, and CVN. It can even perform an I/M readiness test. 

It won’t print data like the NT301, and unlike the NT201, it doesn’t have a colored display. In terms of functionality, the NT201 and NT200C are nearly identical. They do the same things, but the NT200 just looks better while doing them. 

On the other hand, the NT200C is more compact than both the NT301 and the NT201. If portability is important to you, the NT200C might be a better choice despite the lower price.

The NT200C is for the extremely budget-conscious. Its black and white display doesn’t look bad. It just isn’t as pretty as the NT201’s colored display. If that doesn’t bother you, save a few bucks and go with the NT200C.

This Foxwell OBD2 scanner is significantly more expensive than the previous two, but it offers a huge benefit: near-universal vehicle compatibility. While the NT510 only come with one supported manufacturer, this Foxwell scanner works with almost all of them. 

Costing $240, this benefit comes at a steep price. It’s about $60 more than the NT520, but if you intend to use your scanner on a variety of vehicles, it’s more than worth the extra cost.
